Have you ever wondered why a young person turns to drugs,
gets smashed on alcohol, or given all we know about tobacco, starts smoking? As
someone who is running a half marathon, you know the importance of making
healthy choices, but many young people don’t- for a variety of reasons. Health
Connections of the Upper
Valley is a 501c3 health
promotion organization that applies best practices to our outreach programs:
alcohol, tobacco and other drug prevention education and community policy
development, nutrition education and afterschool cooking classes, and quit
tobacco programs. Your support will help us to sustain our outreach work.
To THANK YOU, Health Connections will provide you with:
A really COOL wicking running hat,
Transportation of your Stuff to the Finish,
A 10 minute post-race massage,
And, a team picture.
Please go to www.hcuv.org and
click on fundraising, then on CBHM. Complete the online registration form and
you will be sent a link to set up your fundraising page. Each Health
Connections’ runner raises a minimum of $350, plus pays the $90 registration
fee. You may also fundraise the registration fee.
On behalf of our staff and Board of Directors, thank you for
